Buying the materials to insulate a transformer costs $250 per transformer. The Shock Free Zone program that we launched from the La Ceiba Primary Forest Foundation, in cooperation with the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE) and the supervision of the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE), consists of insulating transformers and electrical lines that are currently without insulation.

We have already isolated 42 transformers since 2.017 in cooperation with ICE.

Buys the materials to construct a road overpass for wildlife in fragmented landscapes. This canopy bridge is going to help wildlife cross the road safely in some critical points we have identified.

We have already set up 19 bridges since 2.017 in cooperation with ICE.

Make your Donation for animals The Jaguar Rescue Center is an organization that receives no government funding. We are able to do our work with the animals only because of the generous donations and contributions from our visitors, and people like you. The money brought in to the Center from tours and individual donations is what allows us to continue helping animals, and we hope you will be a part of it too.

Helping injured animals, hosting them during their recuperation and getting them ready for their release back in to the wild requires lots of resources. Please share some of your love with our incredible rainforest animals and help us continue with this important mission.
